"Very friendly and efficient manager, beautiful outlook, sadly we could only stay one night. Beds were a bit hard for us, but plenty of very hot water for the shower. In at 4:30pm out at 5:00am for Yala Safari. "

"We stayed here for a few days to go to Yala National Park and Hotel Elephant Eye was a great location for taking a SAFARI Tour. The owner is very friendly and the staff are very hardworking. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Easy walk or Tuk tuk to town for restaurants and grocery stores."

"Magnifique vue sur le lac. Hôtel idéalement placé car pas trop loin de la ville. Cependant déjeuner pas super pour 6€ par personne. La chambre est bien mais les finitions 0 par contre le personnel est au petit soin. Manque de sun bed au bord de la piscine. "

"We were there for a quick over-night to go on a safari in the early morning. The evening meal was poor, in fact it was take-out from another supplier and not prepared on the spot. The box breakfast was poor. The room was fine. We did not use the pool. It is quite far from the nature park so requred a long drive to get to the safari. Generally it was OK for the price. Just have realistic expectations."

"Had trouble at first with staff saying booking didnt go through so had to contact hotels via X to sort out. The one staff was a great guy, so freindly and helpful, i was in the area to visit national park and he arranged this for me. Only problem with hotel is internet did not work, and no phone reception in that area either. "

This significantly impacted my holiday. I was also required to spend time locating pharmacies and purchasing treatment products and medication. "basic guesthouse with 5 rooms and a communal room. bed was alright and came with clean bathroom. recommended to pay extra for the air con (which didn’t seem available as an option during booking) as it was really hot when we visited and the room was stuffy after awhile. (only reason y i gave a 4 rating as i was sweating throughout the night) the staff were great though especially Dhanushka who went all out to arrange a comfortable stay for us, including getting a beer and dinner for us. he...

"I had a great relaxing stay in Yala. The manager was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was decent size with separate shower. The breakfast was basic but tasty and lots of it. The pool was great to jump into after a long day travelling or on safari. All the jeeps will come pick up from the hotel and they can even arrange a safari for you for a reasonable rate if you dont want to do it yourself online. Theres not much around the...
