Leuk hotel vlakbij drukke winkelstraat

Een fijn hotel om te verblijven. Dicht bij de Malioboro straat met de vele winkeltjes en kraampjes. Het hotel is zeer netjes met een super goed ontbijt, wat bestaat uit zowel westers als oosters eten. Voor ieder wat wils. Gewoon een top hotel met zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel.

Hotel close to the shopping area of Malioboro Road

We stayed for three nights at this hotel. Location was not too far from Malioboro Road. While the room was a nice size, they could have taken some of the space for the toilet as it was rather small; felt almost like on a cruise ship. The bathroom floor got wet whenever we showered as the design of the shower panel was not well thought out. We found the bath towels smelt like they had not been dried properly. The biggest gripe was that the toilet flush did not work (thank goodness for the hose). Cleanliness of the room could be improved; we found the floor sandy on several occasions. We arranged with the hotel for early breakfast to be taken away as we went on a sunrise hike as well as the Borobudor sunrise and even though they had noted it, we found ourselves having to chase them for it in the morning cos they were never ready in time for our departure.

スタッフの英語は堪能で、こちらの話もよく通じる。日本語は試していないが、多分無理。宿泊客への対応は親切で誠実。 ジョグジャカルタの繁華街マリオボロ通りまでは、近道を使うと歩いて数分。ただし、近道は狭い路地を抜ける生活通りなので、旅慣れていないと見つけにくいかも。見つからなくて遠回りをしても、マリオボロまで10分はかからない。 宿泊はインドネシアの人々が主体で、朝食のバリエイションは多いが、インドネシア料理が中心の構成になっている。ホテルのレストランでの夕食は、メニュウにある料理の一部を切らしていることもある。ビールやアルコール類の提供はないが、外で買ったビールの持ち込みは認めてくれた。マリオボロ通りのジョグジャカルタ駅近くにあるスーパーで、冷えた缶ビールが手に入る。
