"The facility is old and In need of upgrades and repairs. Part of the bathroom vanity was broken. Staying in a non-smoking room doesn’t matter because when smokers are right next door, the smoke permeates through the walls like they’re in the same room with you. The stench was terrible."

"The close proximity to three train stations, a shopping mall, several restaurants, and the military bases make Mercure Yokosuka the ideal place to stay. I booked 7 nights there and put in a request for an upgrade to a bay view, and it was well worth it! Not only did I get an excellent view of everything, on my last night I was able to watch a fireworks show taking place at Yokohama Port (approximately 25 kilometers away) from the comfort of my room. The rooms were clean. The staff were very helpful, especially when I sent my suitcase to the hotel and they kept it safe until I checked in. The laundry room was readily available, though I think it would help if it had a change machine. I never did take advantage of the restaurants within the hotel, but then again I was constantly on the move and there were several other restaurants available. If I do come back next year, not only will I stay there again, I hope to get the same room."

"We have stayed here several times. Unfortunately this visit was not as good as previous. There were issues with noisy guests above us. The place had an odor and communication was difficult with a few of the front desk guests. The beds are small and not that comfortable. There is a main control for the AC which they wanted to set at an unusually high temperature; it would also switch down/off at night. I had to complain to get it cooler and have it stay on at night, which they controlled from the front desk. It’s really set up for base personnel not tourists, especially for what we pain for our two week stay. We checked out early and were not refunded the two days."
