"Likes: we loved this location and the pool was very nice. We had an ocean view room which was lovely and we were able to walk to a decent dinner spot and to the beach to swim. My kids and I had a blast and the overall vibe of the place is quite nice. We will likely be back next year.
Drawbacks: in terms of amenities, you can definitely feel corners being cut. There were a few things that I would have expected at $350 / night: an ice machine in the building and easy access to extra towels. We had neither unless you got them from the office in a separate building. I would also have expected an option for housekeeping daily but they only clean every third day. Additionally, in the rooms, there is ZERO storage and very little usable surfaces. No closet, just four hangers on the wall. No desk or counter - just a small 2' square space above the mini fridge. No chairs, you have to sit on the bed to hang out. No conditioner in the shower and while the pool area had a nice looking bar - there was no service available there and nothing stocked in that area. Also, they allow dogs so be forewarned. We had a very whiny, barking dog in the room above us and it was loud.
Truly no huge issues but for the luxury prices, they should be doing a bit more, or at a minimum you should feel there's staff there to serve you - it really was like one person at the desk with no backup. Idk if this is a hotel group or what - I hope they see this feedback because we want to come back for sure!"
