"They don't speak much English but tried their best to communicate via Google translate, very helpful and friendly service."

"Nice onsen, good facilities"

"We absolutely loved Yamate Inn. The staff was very friendly, the room was decent, and it’s in a great location; lots of neat places along the street on which it lies. If we return to Kofu (likely) we will definitely seek it out again."

"The staff was incredibly nice and the incl. buffet breakfast and omakase dinner was excellent. The in room private onsen was very nice with views of Mt. Fuji. The nightly drum show was a nice touch. 10/10 recommend!"

"Hotel was clean but we were told it was a love hotel that also offered rooms by the hour. Found things in room we weren’t used to and although it was a clean room we felt we should have been told ahead of time."

"Really nice onsen hotel. You’ll need a car to get there but that’s easy to rent from Kofu sta"

"My favorite stay of my entire 2 week trip. Spacious, clean, cute. Honestly wish I booked more nights here. "

"The property is very nice and had no problems with staff. They were very nice and helpful. However, for those looking to access public transportation this hotel is not for you. I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). Have to use taxi to get to station. So if you have a car or other...

"This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided great service, and I really enjoyed the thoughtful little touches, including the complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night noodles). I was especially pleasantly surprised by how delicious the welcome grape juice was. Although it is a bit of a walk from the JR station, it is definitely a hotel I would recommend."

"Stayed here on a family holiday in 2 double rooms. Convenient location as we were driving and good value. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms with amenities available as required. Dining options are available nearby; the sushi place directly across the road is excellent! Would be happy to recommend to others who would like a slightly unusual place to stay "

"Hade a nice stay."

"I saw someone share photos of this Onsen on instagram and had to see if they had rooms available. I’m so glad I did! The property is stunning, the staff are incredibly warm and kind, and the food was exceptional. I got a room with a balcony over the fish pond and a private bath and I enjoyed every second of my stay. I will absolutely come back the next time I am in Japan. The trip from Tokyo was about an hour by train, and the Onsen has shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off when you...

"非常に気きれいで静かなホテルです。コンテナハウスの面白い作りになってますが、 普通のホテルと変わりない部屋ですね。 駐車場も目の前にあり安心です。 ただ周りに歩いて行ける飲食店が少ないです。"

"The staff was excellent. They went out of their way to be helpful."

"Amazing place, beautiful location in the mountains. The staff were the best part, picking us up from Hinoharu Station when we asked. Loved it here, would highly recommend as someone who can only speak English."

"Excellent"

"Breakfast and dinner is delicious."
