Remember to bring your own bath plug!

Stay was pleasant with an amazing view. Close to the center of Zakopane, Gubalowka. We had to pay 12 zl when we checked in- no idea for what? Breakfast and pass for the swimming pool and hot terms were included. Unfortunately, we haven't got a bath plug to our bath. So we couldn't have a batha, the shower was very poor. I had to wait 1 day for the staff to find a bath plug! Remember to bring your own bath plug!

This is a good and bad story. First the good. I had a very nice clean room with a big bathroom. Breakfast was good with lots of choices but i was only there for one night. The hotel is two streets away from the main street of town but was still quit and peaceful.. Now the bad. I paid for a double room with a mountain view and a balcony. I got a single room with a view of another of the hotels buildings and no balcony. I received no apology, compensation or refund. There is no wifi in the room or information about the hotel or the local area. The sauna and the steam rooms in the spa do not open until 2pm. The staff speaks very little English. It is not the worst place I have ever stayed in but it could be so much better if some things were added or improved.

Aqua Park and Sauna in Zakopane

We were in low season, so things might be better at high times. Massage and other therapies not available as posted. Most staff had poor English skills and not all signs available in English. Waited for dinner time first night only to be told reservations had to be made one day in advance. An email stating this would have been helpful. While main building is connected to Aqua Park and thermal pools, staff at hotel were not aware of food service there. Make sure you choose rooms that are connected to Aqua Park, otherwise saunas and unlimited access aren't included (we were okay, but other guests had this experience). Downtown Zakopane is a 20 minute walk . The location is beautiful, but reception staff often not helpful due to English (and our lack of Polish). The site does seem to be family friendly with outdoor places, and a bowling alley in addition to Aqua Park. Our rooms had balcony which made for beautiful view of mountains. It was wonderful to be in the outdoor heated pool at sunset with the Tatras in the distance.

Great facilities and staff

Walked my case to the hotel form the main railway station, with the last stage up hill. Best to take a taxi from the reailway station to the Hotel umless you are quite fit. The walk was pleaseant. From the Hotel you can walk to the main street of Zakopane in 15 minutes. Breakfast is fine and with pleny of Swedins buffe style food which I enjoyd. Wityh the booking came accerss to the nextdoor awuatic centre. I chose this hotel because of the swimming facilities but prior to booking neglected to ask about the oudoor poo which was only just about to te-open after the winter season - my fault as I should have checked. The aquatic facility is great for recreation. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and I even found as shortcut to the hotel from the town. Would I stay there again - absolutely but if you are keen on the outdoor pool the it pays to check whether it is open.

Wifi signal was very poor and the connection was dropping off randomly. Whilst the mobile signal in the area was poor as well, we were left out without the robust internet access. When having dinner at the restaurant, we wanted to get a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to pay by cash (!!!) and the nearest cash machine was a long walk away. As a result, we had to give up having wine. On New Year's morning, the dining room was very full and we had to wait for the long time to get a free table. The service staff were not attentive at all, and they didn't help people find their seats. Perhaps it's worth introducing booking slots for breakfasts so everyone can sit comfortably? We have hardly seen any guests wearing masks inside the hotel and the staff weren't wearing them either. We were asked if we are vaccinated while checking-in to the hotel, but we were not asked to show any proof of vaccination. We stayed in the apartment which had no lift to get to and we had to carry very heavy suitcases up the stairs. Disappointing.

Dużym plusem jest nieograniczony dostęp do aqaparku oraz miła obsługa. Śniadania niezłe. Brakuje windy i wyjścia z dolnych pokoi w stronę aqaparku - trzeba się cofać prze cały obiekt i wspinać trzy pietra. Ogólnie miło.

Przeżyliśmy.

Brak ogrzewania w pokoju przy pobycie gdzie lało przez 4 bite dni z dużym włochatym psem i noworodkiem popsuł pobyt w obiekcie. Mieliśmy znajomych w tym samym czasie w obiekcie, u nich też ogrzewanie nie działało. Brak możliwości wysuszenia rzeczy. Obiekt czysty. Sprzątania codziennie nie ma. Było raz jak poprosiłem. Panie w recepcji bardzo miłe i pomocne. Śniadanie w formie bufetu szwedzkiego ze względu na wirusa nie jest w formie bufetu, podawane są talerze i trzeba powiedzieć co ma zostać zaserwowane. Codziennie to samo, dla miłośników mięsa. Pobyt oceniam na średni, tylko ze wzgledu na aquapark. My nie wrócimy do tego obiektu, wybierzemy inny przy kolejnej wizycie w Zakopane.

Bardzo blisko centrum, raptem 10’min na Krupówki. Nielimitowany aqua park w cenie pobytu niewątpliwym atutem tego pensjonatu. Poza sezonem w marcu bardzo mało ludzi zarówno w pensjonacie jak i na basenie, jest to duży plus.
