Wander through Stone Town's labyrinthine alleys, where ornate doors and bustling bazaars reveal centuries of Swahili culture. Sail to pristine beaches for snorkelling, or visit a spice farm to discover why Zanzibar's known as the 'Spice Island'.
Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort.. UNIQUE being the operative word.
This resort is by far one of a kind and it completely exceeded mine and my partners expectations. We would definitely visit again, and again and AGAIN, hopefully annually. The staff deserve a 10/10 on their consistently outstanding customer service throughout our entire stay literally everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, the alcohol is amazing and the beach and VIEWS ! Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar exceeded all our expectations. It is an excellent choice for solo travellers, couples and families, and in my opinion, this resort is seriously underrated.
From the moment we stepped onto the hotel premises, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was friendly, kind and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ally, who helped my wife organise a beautiful surprise dinner for us by the beach. It was an unforgettable experience and...

Wonderful! The staff can't do enough for you. The hotel is clean, the rooms are lovely, the view spectacular. From Yacinta at the front desk, to Agustino, Kelvin and Alfred in the bar and restaurant, to Chef Ali and the delicious food, every one really cared for us and wanted to make sure we were having a great time. Even the groundsmen and the housekeepers had a lovely smile and ask about your day, honestly I can't speak highly enough. A great experience, wish we didnt have to leave!

Wonderful relaxing resort set in beautiful gardens. Very welcoming friendly staff. Excellent food with much variety. Once a week there is a fantastic barbecue served along with a local band playing for everyone to learn some local dances. The bungalows are very most comfortable and very private. There is a wonderful jetty at the beach where you can sit and watch the sunset. Private dining is also available at the jetty or beach. Lovely hotel for couples especially honeymooners.

Very nice family holiday. All family enjoyed it! Spacious and clean 3 bedroom flat with full kitchen and large balcony.
Would love to come back!
Only one downside- could not buy dishwasher tablets anywhere in Paje😄

Loved everything about this Hotel. Staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a beach front double room which was absolutely beautiful.
Tours to Stonetown and Spice Tour ( and others) can be booked from Hotel.
Meals were amazing. Looked forward to the evening visit around 6pm of the Bush Babies and fed them bananas.
The green flag idea was wonderful - as were the cocktails!

Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Stone Town!
We stayed at Emerson Spice during our trip to Zanzibar and what a fantastic place it is!
The hotel is full of character, with beautiful traditional architecture and a real sense of Zanzibar’s history. It’s completely different from your typical hotel, which is exactly what makes it so special.
The location is brilliant for exploring Stone Town, with everything within easy walking distance. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, and staying here...

From the moment we stepped into Lux* Hotel Zanzibar, we knew we were in for an extraordinary experience. The hotel itself is breathtaking, but what truly sets it apart is the staff—easily the friendliest I’ve ever encountered in my life.
A heartfelt thank you to Pina, who welcomed us with such warmth and grace. Her attention to detail and personal touches made our stay feel incredibly special. Pina’s genuine care and energy elevated our entire experience, and it’s safe to say she’s the heart of...

This was a few days away after doing some fairly demanding charity work in the Maasai Mara. The hotel was recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint. We arrived late but the Assistant Manager was there to greet us and there was a light meal in our room. There were several similar nice touches during our stay and all of the staff went out of their way to make your stay as perfect as they possibly could. Particular praise goes to those we interacted with most (Assi who took us on the...

Small and classy property where you are a name not a number. Staff went out of their way to please and hotel prices for food and drink excellent. I travelled with two teenagers and location on a great beach with a water sports centre on site could not have been better

We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Ingredients and dishes were varied and akin to fine dining. Resort felt very private although effectively right on the beach....

Incredible staff nothing was too much to ensure my stay was amazing. The room was fantastic but would have liked not to have ask for the fridge or other listed things that weren’t in the room.! Main issue would be the lack of transport for solo travellers, the opportunity is there but not explored as we would love to book trips but are excluded
The location may not be suitable for many but for my stay it was perfect

Amazing resort, perfect for relaxing and the friendliest staff with the F&B team going above and beyond. We had a lovely private dinner on the beach on our last night which was a perfect end to an unbelievable stay. Highly recommended and will be back.

Excellent option, friendly and extremely helpful staff. The only observation is that I found there to be too many Indian food options for both lunch and dinner and I missed more grilled food.
