"Ideal location. Well thought out room with toaster and kettle; ideal to make a bite to eat. Breakfast was disappointing; not worth the money. Because it was in between the winter and summer season there was no hot buffet. We were made an omelette but in hindsight would have booked without breakfast. Staff and room were great though and would return again"

"This property offers a tremendous value at low-season rates. It’s positioned on a peninsula jutting out into the lake so the views are unmatched. The half-board program provides dinner and a very substantial afternoon food offering for a minor upcharge and is well worth it. Breakfast is also a large and varied spread. While it’s an older building, I found the essentials functional, and the room was relatively spacious. Service was friendly and unfussy; housekeeping was kind enough to leave an apple most days. One minor issue is it’s not the quietest: it’s located next to the railroad tracks so passing trains are audible, and one morning I awoke to gardening equipment that should probably have been run later in the day."

"I would not recommend this company or this apartment (The Penthouse) to anyone looking for a warm, comfortable stay after a day on the mountain. On arrival, the apartment was cold. The radiators were on but barely warm, and the overall temperature was uncomfortable. That evening, we contacted the host to explain that we were travelling with our 2-year-old child and that the apartment was too cold. We received no response. The next day, someone came to “check” the heating but said they were not an engineer and could not fix it. We endured another cold night, and the following morning there was no hot water before skiing, delaying our start. The heating never improved during our stay. We requested a portable heater to keep our young son warm, but this was not provided. After returning home, I submitted a complaint. Several days later, we were offered a small refund under 4% of the amount paid. We explained this was not satisfactory given the uncomfortable conditions and our child being cold, but the company refused further compensation. They later claimed that some radiators were working and that the apartment temperature did not drop below 19°C. We do not believe this is accurate, as none of the radiators felt warm, and the alleged thermometer reading was only mentioned after our stay, leaving us no way to verify it. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this apartment or company to anyone expecting a warm and comfortable base"

"The staff who helped check in was so nice and kind. You can get Summer Card if you want. Clean and cozy room with a good sauna are good for us! "

"The young woman who ran the desk was great. Really helpful. HOWEVER the check-in is self service and the email I received was in German. I don’t read German while we were attempting to get in the hotel 2 other couples came up with the same problem. Happily the young lady came to work early and got things settle Also the breakfast was very good and the lady that ran it was friendly and helpful "

"While centrally located - there’s no air conditioning and the area is extremely noisy until late at night, followed by the cleaning crews in the early hours, followed by the extensive church bells early morning. So, during summer, if you want to leave your windows open you’re unlikely to get any sleep. Check in with cocky young Denis wasn’t stellar. He kept trying to get us to park in the public parking instead of the hotel parking. Hotel parking has an awful entry system for foreigners who may not have Austrian phone access. Hotel is outdated with just the bare minimum provided - one pillow, side lamps glued to side tables etc. Wouldn’t stay here again. "
