There were only a couple things we needed to get used to was the fact that being in the wilderness meant the area had a lot of bugs - inside and out. "Lake Tahoe is absolutely a beautiful! Alpine Gem Is a great location in a quiet neighborhood. Only down side for us is there is a pet that lives in the home even though the rental is not pet friendly. We are allergic and that was a bummer. Hot tub was a bonus!! Maybe add some small solar lights. "
