"丁寧な対応をいただけました。個室も清潔で使いやすかったです。空港目の前という立地、朝食サービス含めて総合的に満足度が高い宿でした。フロントのスタッフの方は日本語を聞くことはできないけど少し話せるとのことで、重要なことは日本語で教えてくれました。すごくありがたかったです。 １点、気になった点があります。 空調のリモコン表示がされておらず、温度調整ができませんでした。個室内があまりにも寒かったのでエアコンを消さざるを得ず、じとっとした環境での睡眠となったことだけが残念でした。"

"Stranded 1 night in Rio & exhausted. Booked a room at Modernistas Hospedagem e Arte because it's in a traditional touristic neighborhood, as opposed to the beaches. "I never checked in, room wasn’t available and because it was a “on going booking” it didn’t let me cancel it and the hotel couldn’t cancel it neither. I lost my money and got scammed. "

"The temperature in the gym was too hot. They should keep windows covered during the day, as the gym is on the rooftop with glass doors. Elevators all broken all the time. Breakfast is simple and the same every day."

"The condition of the room was fine, and the staff was super nice. The service itself wasn't so good. I requested several times for someone to come help me with the safe inside the room, and no one came up to help me even though they said they would. I also reported the phone inside the room didn't work on the first night, and they also didn't fix it. "This is a safe, solid, budget friendly hotel in the heart of the Lapa Samba club area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was decent for the price and area and I felt safe overall. The area is in close proximity to the mosaic stairs and on Sunday there’s an amazing open air market that takes place close by.
