The best of the 4 hotels we stayed in during our visit to Rio. The only one that wasn’t full of mosquitoes ☺️ lovely rooftop pool made it feel like a holiday vs hostel.. good air conditioning too.

Good flexibility wheelchair and bathroom

Great hotel, unfortunately it was high summer in Rio and there were lots of families, normally we would go to adult only hotel during school holidays, our mistake for not checking. I am sure the experience would have been different in the off season, also this hotel is a conference hotel

Stayed here for our honeymoon. It’s a stunning place. Very special. First class service. The breakfast was incredible too.

Great hotel. A bit away from central Rio but Uber/taxi connections are very good. We particularly enjoyed the roof top pool and adjacent bar.

Excellent and would highly recommend

Amazing hotel, modern and clean. Staff were all friendly and fun. Loved the breakfast selection as well.

The freezer in our room was completely covered with ice, which made it difficult to use...

Hotel Nacional is a huge, modern and impressive looking hotel, but our stay did not get off to the best start. We'd booked two junior suites rooms and had asked to be on the same floor so our kids could be near us, but were put around 20 floors apart and were told the hotel was full, which was annoying. When you book two rooms how hard...
