"So amazing! This is an authentic chalet tucked in the mountains. It’s a quick drive to Lauterbrunnen or there’s a free bus. I love the little grocery market that’s across the street. Just a stone throw away. This market has famous croissants that are a regional favorite.. but don’t eat too many because the breakfast at this hotel is great. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would encourage them to do is provide coffee in the rooms. They do have teabags in the hallway and water kettles...

"The location was fantastic, the room was fair, but...no ice, no fridge, no microwave, no way to keep any food from any meals or the store fresh purchases for later or reheat anything. The city shops basically shut down at 6pm so if you have not prepared for this it can be very frustrating when you have no way to save your food. Plan ahead and you will be fine, but as a traveler doing site seeing all day it was important to manage your food as restaurants in the area were very expensive and...

"It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist. "Breakfast was good. Hotel was in good shape for the age with a renovated bathroom. Could have used a spare pillow in the room. One extra large pillow is in the room but it’s super super soft so it you need more support you’ll need another."
