The omelet station is great. There needs to be more lighting in the dining area though... very dark. The fitness center is good although I wish it opened before 5:30 am. I appreciate a Kurig in the room. I have stayed at the Academy Hotel a few times and will continue to book there when in Colorado ...

Great location for a Smoky Mountains National Park vacation home base with only a 15 minute drive to the Park. We had a delightfully spacious corner suite with great views of the river. Breakfast is mediocre but edible for one morning. This property does cater to large tour bus groups. Pool was closed ...

Clean, comfy bed..perfect for our needs. Upon checking in we were told no room was booked for us….it had been cancelled! After some very stressful conversation, front desk staff called Expedia & due to confusion over my husband’s first name…yes indeed we did have a reservation to stay the night!
