"The Public was an amazing experience! The only reason a put a 4 star instead of 5, is because there is a $105 mandatory charge before you can check in. "We had 4 in a unit on the 14th floor - great size space and was a blessing to have 2 baths. There is construction next door right now, so the mornings can be a little noisy, but it never bothered us too much as we were out the door exploring the city pretty early every day. Roof deck is awesome - We'd go up and have coffee most mornings. Central to so much there, and plenty of subway stops within a few blocks, so pretty easy to get anywhere."

"The hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being near a busy road. The neighborhood is sketchy. There was a man standing outside his van acting very suspicious the first night we stayed there. We made sure to take all our valuables and lock our car. There are very few food options (Wendy’s, Taco Bell & Dunkin Donuts). Our room was comfortable (two queen beds and a pull-out sofa).
