"It’s an unassuming hotel but you can’t beat the location. We walked to everything. It’s very classic and rooftop bar was very nice. Pillows were a bit hard but besides that everything was good"

"The staff was extraordinary. They spoke beautiful English when my Italian was still not very good. They were very helpful and helped us arrange transportation to Civitavecchia. Nice Italian breakfast. Our room was small but very nice and easy to get too and convient to the Via Aurelia gate where we didn't have to use the steps. All in all a great experience and we highly recommend for it's proximity to the Vatican, neighborhood, staff and charm."

"Excellent breakfast. Entrance is on a pedestrian only route so you will have carry your luggage about 100 feet from the nearest vehicle access. This did not bother me, but might be an issue for some. "

The one weird thing was that I left the "do not disturb" sign out for my whole one-week stay and someone came in and cleaned the bathroom and replaced towels that were not on the floor while I was out one day. "Positives: Great location ~ we could get to anywhere fairly easily. Lots of restaurants, bakeries & grocery stores on the same block. And the Staff was very friendly! We rented the 3-person Suite. Negatives: There were more stairs to our room than we thought there would be. We were traveling with someone with a walking disability, so that was somewhat inconvenient. The bath tub had a hand held shower head but no shower curtain which made it difficult to actually shower easily. "
