"Nous avons passé une nuit au Celtic Lodge. Nous avions une chambre très calme donnant sur l'impasse a l'arrière. Tout est fait pour limiter le bruit du couloir. Et la moquette est très epaisse et moelleuse. Aussi, l'emplacement est excellent, près de O Connel. La recéptionniste a donné aussi de très bons conseils. Bref, bonne adresse. Le petit dejeuner n'est pas le point fort de cet hotel. Je ne le recommanderai pas. "

"Friendly desk staff. Although we reserved a space for parking for 1 night, and when we came to park the next desk person denied that we had made arrangements. She let us park after all,but it was inconvenient."

"The room was nice. Fit a family of four. We were by the stairs and it was louder while others walked up above, so that was bothersome as well as a creaky door that was between the room and foyer section. Overall was charming and a nice neighborhood."

"Quite quirky rooms with interesting layouts. It doesn't feel very secure when travelling alone with no key lock, or chain lock on the doors (there were 2 connecting doors to my room). Bed was very comfortable, shower was great and had everything I needed in the kitchen. Check in was fine as others said it was difficult but once you follow the instructions it's pretty simple. Rooms a little on the cool side with breezes through the vents but this didn't bother me too much."

"Safe and comfortable property and surroundings. A market (Donnybrook Fair) was less than a block away. It was approximately a 25 minute walk to St. Stephen's Green/Dublin City Centre. The only issue I had with this property was the very thin walls (the building is very old) and I was able to hear conversations, washroom business, etc and the people in the next suite were not loud, ie: not shouting at all. Definitely bring your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The front desk kindly provided...

"We enjoyed a great stay at The Ariel. We enjoyed a room upgrade due to it being our anniversary...this was a lovely surprise; the room was fabulous. Arrived in to complimentary cakes. Breakfast was excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back sometime."

"Clean, nice size room, historically decorated very nicely. Bathroom good size for a family of 4. Breakfast was very good! Vegetarian friendly. Area is North and about a 15-20 mon walk to temple bar, 30 min walk to Grafton Street. "
