As a traveler that has visited Cancun over 40 times, and traveled most of the US, Mexico, & Europe, I can honestly say this was the worst vacation experience of my life.
We picked this hotel because it was ranked the #1 for adults AI in Cancun. However we quickly learned that this hotel was a timeshare and the reviews are mostly fake or exaggerated by timeshare owners to keep their investment secure. This property is one the dirtiest, mold covered, & class oriented hotels around. If you aren't a Hyatt Class member then you are treated like you snuck in without paying. I've never experienced anything like this. The last words we heard from the hotel manager Aiimee was that she was going to work with Expedia to get us a refund and to please not post a bad review. Had I got any refund I probably would have, because the last two days of our vacation they really tried to make up for ruining the first half of our trip. Daniela at the pool was wonder and did her best to salvage our stay for us. Unfortunately after paying for a deluxe ocean front luxury suite and being put in a room that overlooked a junk yard and industrial air conditioning building, a hammock covered in brown sticky mold, a bathroom covered in mold, a pool that stunk so bad & had so much mold that I had to complain to the manager and to his credit had a industrial cleaner out the next day cleaning the one area, but leaving all the rest of the black mold inside the pool. (There's a lot more, but ran out of space.)
