We stayed at the Riu Palace Peninsula for our honeymoon 5/22/24 to 5/26/24 and it was exceptional; we had to stay an extra night. The staff was amazing, customer service was excellent. Truly a beautiful and clean resort with countless food options. My husband is also a food critic and he had no complaints. We will definitely be staying at the Riu Palace Peninsula the next time we visit Cancun with our family or a private getaway for us.

There are multiple RIU resorts in the area I like that we weren't limited to just our resort. Was able to vist tge othe RIU's freely except for the RIU Kukulkan

Needs a little update and f Friendlier bartenders. The air conditioning didn’t work the greatest and some of the food was pretty bland. Still a nice vacation spot, but I either got alcohol poisoning or something from the pool bar. Went there 10 years ago had a blast went back and the property was not up to our expectations.

The resort is beautiful, staff great, great partys for adult's, beautiful beach and close to almost everything, great catering to us while hanging by beach and pool with drinks, bbq by pool was nice . HOWEVER toilet kept clogging over and over, bed and pillow uncomfortable, the ac hardly works, tv small, hot tub in room didnt work which was one reason i picked this resort, the food wasn't so good. Hit or missed mostly miss. Mostly for adult's if you ask me being i was there with my 9 and 17 year old. I rate it 3.5 star

The smell when you walk in smelled so good. The whole hotel was clean. Service was incredible. Maybe it just needs more night events. Overall everything was excellent

The nightly entertainment was great especially the MJ show. Booking specialty restaurants was trying. Only got through once. The parties and party area are a bonus. The general layout, facilities, cleanliness, staff and activities were very good. Would recommend to others. Would be good to have a small medical bay with basics in case of med needs.

We stayed at the hotel for five days but we’re not happy. It’s all inclusive hotel but you have very limited option for food and drinks was OK room service was very bad Menu was very short and just a sandwich you can order and all the restaurants at the hotel. They have same food as the buffet and lunch buffet food wasn’t Edible. We are not happy for stay at Riu Peninsula.

Nice and friendly staff. They let us check in 3 hours early. Food was decent. They have several specialty restaurants that open for dinner. The rooms were decent. Alcohol dispenser and mini fridge in the room were a plus. The bed is not very soft and the room was w a little warmer that I prefer. Also the cover on the bed is equivalent to two sheets. Nice pools. The RIU foam / pool parties are FUN!

The staff is very attentive and hospitable. We were very impressed with the housekeeping throughout the property. The food at the buffet and restaurants was excellent and lots of choices. We will definitely be back!

I would have given a 5 star in all aspects to this hotel, but reception staff can be a little rude and insensitive to some guests. On the day that I arrived, I noticed a guest was trying to ask a simple question and the staff member completely shut her down. I understand there were other guests in front of her but it definitely could have been handled differently. All other staff members of this hotel that I came across with were super friendly and helpful. Thumbs up to them for making our stay memorable and relaxing.

Loved the stay at Riu Palace Peninsula , food was great and also the service , I would surely recommend it and would stay there again , actually we are going back to Cancun in 8 months and staying in Riu Palace Peninsula .
