"Absolutely loved our stay. Staff was amazing and attentive. The grounds are open to people staying after the park closes so it was nice to explore. They offer animal interaction feeding for a reasonable price per the room regardless of number of people, which was great! Had free fishing on grounds which kids loved. Dinning was great. Enjoyed our stay. "

"We were genuinely sad we only had one night to stay at Banana Azul! Check in was quick and efficient and friendly. The fresh coconut was a lovely treat. The Howler Suite was charming and the view magical. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend Banana Azul if you want an authentic Costa Rica experience that’s right on the Playa Negra beach. I’ll definitely be returning. "

"Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Chambre peu spacieuse mais confortable, salle de bain grande mais pas assez de tablettes pour déposer les effets personnels. Déjeuner style buffet copieux avec fruits frais et œufs fait sur demande. On a aimé la piscine, juste assez grande pour se rafraîchir et lire un peu. On a même eu la chance d’observer un paresseux de très proche grimper sur un arbre."

"Staff was welcoming and very understanding about our flight cancellation. They called to check on us. Provided great info where to go to the beach. The house keeping crew made sure our place felt very welcoming. Bartender Jonathan was so awesome. Gave recommendations. Stephanie welcomed us the night we got in late. She checked on us to make sure we arrived safe in Costa Rica since AA canceled our flight. "
