"Lovely stay at the Suite Balfour Brut Rose room. Very spacious. Luxurious feel, clean and the bed, beddings and mattress very very good, comfortable and clean. Full english breakfast also good. The roast dinner can be improved, taste-wise but overall we had a lovely stay. Thank you to the staffs who attended to us. Special mention to Hannah. "

"We'd booked a half-board stay as we had a hotels.com voucher to use. The hotel staff (Nicky) in the week before the stay were really helpful re the planned Sunday evening stay. Long story short, plans went awry on the day itself. Not only did the staff on the phone help, they went above and beyond and were fabulous. "The overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, although the outside seating area could be cleared of used glasses more often. The staff, from reception to restaurant were always polite and helpful as was jousekeeping. We were impressed by management that on awakening after the fire alarm had been been deliberately set off three times during the night, a letter had been slipped under the guests doors apologising for the upset. "The hotel is easy to find, great parking, ability to eat at the hotel and sit in a nice beer garden. If you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor room as there are lots of stairs and long corridors. I stayed in a deluxe room which was advertised as bigger than average. Overall pleasing colour decor. Tea, coffee , water . Now to be picky - the mattresses on the single beds pushed together to represent a" king size bed " need replacing . The shower area needs to be bleached....

"The hotel was OK but seemed a little tired and had no air con in the bedrooms and as it was a hot day sleep proved difficult. A fan was provided which helped a little. We didn't have time to use the leisure facilities so cant comment. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We had a little walk around the area, not much around a supermarket and couple of places to eat if you didn't want to eat in the hotel, probably wouldn't have done this had it not been light as don't know the area but...
