"This was our first stay under the new ownership and it didn't disappoint. Staff were very welcoming at check-in and throughout our stay. The decor has been updated and Sheldon House now looks far more 'colourful'. I rarely read the guest information, however the folder was inviting and I am glad that I opened it. "Holly House is a lovely place to stay - Dee is the most delightful host and her garden is just gorgeous. The room was perfect for my two-night stay in the area, to visit relatives and National Trust properties. A very comfortable bed, and hot shower. The breakfast options were excellent and set me up for the day ahead. The proximity (within easy walking distance) of a good country pub, The Red Lion, was a bonus for evening meals - highly recommended. I would love to return one day to Holly...
