"We needed a place after exploring Sequoia National Park and Gena's fit the bill. Not a lot for room amenities, but comfortable bed and bath. The restaurant had tasty choices and the food was wonderful and served with a smile. Just right for people not able to stay in the lodges or don't camp."

"If you’re looking for a tiny (5 room) road side place to sleep this motel serves that purpose. It’s about a 40 minute to the entrance of Sequoia and there are no services near by. Host was very pleasant. "

"Beautiful view of the lake. Daily walks during spring season was perfect. Flowers bursting everywhere Very quiet and remote. Extremely spacious. Perfect for multi-families. Internet works great only inside cabin. Joseph was very friendly and very helpful for any questions or concerns. Loved the woodstove fireplace. It was fun to use and kept us warm. "

"Connie was a most convivial host. She was always friendly and helpful. Her knowledge and advise for navigating the Parks was outstanding. "This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay"

"We squeezed a trip up to the national parks during a trip to see family in LA, so we only had two nights. We arrived and immediately wished we had more time! The cabin, the creek behind it, the trails adjacent — everything was twice as beautiful as we imagined. The owners are thoughtful and gracious. We truly appreciated this little bonus gem."
