The manager and all the staff were very helpful. The location was excellent—-within walking distance of anything you would want in old town Istanbul. Great complimentary breakfast on their rooftop restaurant. Dinner was very good there as well.The front office manager Engin was incredible. He knew my room number and name from our first arrival. He arranged our tour of the city. He has a photographic memory and knows all the guests their duration in the hotel and room number. Atahanwas great. We first met him in the restaurant on the roof. He was our waiter—-very efficient. Then he is working at reception. We learned later he was the bellhop but was used all over hotel where needed. Great employee

Lage ist super.Alle wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe.Das Hotel ist sauber,Personal freundlich und zurückhaltend.Nur das Frühstück war etwas dürftig und keine Wärmebehälter,alle warme Gerichte fast kalt.Und wenig von der tollen türkische Küche,leider.

it was a very nice Place to stay.. the Location was superb and other Locations in Istanbul were easy to reach from the Hotel. The Personal was very nice and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend the hotel:) especially for a group of girls which is travelling alone.

The best staff you can ask for they bent over backwards for us they help with any questions we had decent breakfast had a little issue with the shower squirting water but overall my husband and i would go back

Very central location in the centre of the major sights. Gigantic panoramic view from the breakfast terrace on the nearby tourist hotspots. Extremely friendly staff. After a few days, we even got an upgrade to the luxury side of the hotel and were able to enjoy the view of the square and the sunset over Istanbul. A highly recommended stay.

Excellent location and access to tramway. Very helpful staff and breakfast has all you need to feel good for the beginning of new day plus cost is included in price of stay. I would stay there again if Old Town is your main interest.

Unfortunatley when I went to check in I was informed that Sultanhan Hotel could not accomodated me for 1 of my 2 nights booked and I would have to move to another hotel for my alternate night. The Desk manager at Sultanhan was very kind and helpful but I was very disappointed about having to change hotels after just 1 night and requested a 2 night stay in the same hotel. He arranged for me to stay both nights at the alternate hotel but they then informed me on my 2nd day that I would have to change rooms. So I ended up not staying at the hotel I had carefully selected (Sultanhan) and had a disruptive stay as I had to pack up and move rooms 1 day to the next.

Lovely and elegant hotel, I very much enjoyed staying at the Sultanhan. The lobby is very attractive and the staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. My room was nicely decorated. Some rooms have a balcony; I was able to sit and enjoy the views. The breakfast was also very good, and is on the 6th floor with panoramic views of the boats on the Bosphorus and the city.

Die Damen und Herren im Hotel waren sehr bemüht! Das Frühstück war gut und die Aussicht im Restaurant ist fenomenal! Am letzten Tag haben sie sich für den Transfer sehr bemüht, trotz Straßensperren sind wir rechtzeitig am Flughafen angekommen. Vielen Dank!!

Good , except the breakfast, it wasn’t good and the dishes smell eggs, they have to use vinegar when they clean dishes

In the heart of the major must sees but on a quiet courtyard, close to the tram stops for touring. Lots of character, a bit faded, appreciative staff with good recommendations for dining, touring.

Very nice personell - trustworthy. very nice wiev over the Marmara see from our room and balcony on the fifth floor Lokation is very close to the major attractions and the tram station just a block away. We liked our stay very much
