"The hotel was very dated and the carpet was very old, but the room was very clean and very spacious. The free breakfast was excellent. It was located 3 minutes from the Yellowstone entrance. "

"We love this property but there are some small issues. The mattress les are due and upgrade. The sheets were tucked too short to cover my head. I’m very light sensitive and the drapes didn’t shut out the light. Really, though, the property is just a gem."

"Very clean and comfortable. This renovated motel has some quirky features. The wall light switch controls all the lamps in the room, including the outlets for recharging phones and other devices. You may think your devices are charging, but if the wall switch is off, the outlets aren’t working. This is not explained. I love the “mom & pop” feel of the lodge; not corporate or standard. "The staff and new owners appear to be taking measures to upgrade an older property that needs some touching up. As is, I thought it to be an excellent value, and have experienced much worse several times at similar rates. I’d be curious to see what improvements would be made over the next year, and also would overnight there again."
