"Our overall experience was very good. However on three separate occasions we were awoken by other inconsiderate guests despite the signage asking people to be quiet at certain times. This meant we had to get out of bed in the middle of the night to ask people to be quiet. "This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"Really enjoyed my stay here. I was staying here for a golf trip to play Nefyn Golf Club. I was greeted by Jon on arrival in the lobby who kindly took my bags up the stairs to my room and showed my around my room. The rooms are a little dated but they were clean, fresh and very tidy. Plenty of tea/coffee bags along with some cookies which was a nice touch. Plenty of off street car parking available at the hotel too! Overall, a great experience and will definitely not hesitate to stop here...

"The room was nice. Due to Covid restrictions, we didn’t see a single member of staff apart from the man in the bar, which wasn’t the kind of hotel bar I expected. No real ale (“because it wasn’t worth doing” according to the barman). No coffee either. We went to our room via a side door, so we didn’t even see the hotel facilities. "Lovely house with everything we needed and plenty of space for our group of 7. The location was perfect, close to the beach and the coastal path for beautiful walks. The host was very accommodation and provided any information we needed, and the chocolate buns were very tasty!! There is a nice pub and a small shop within steps of the property and the fish and chip shop is just a short drive away. Thanks for an amazing stay, we had a great weekend! "
