"Excellent greeting by the reception staff. The staff was very help and clear in her advise. I check in at about 9pm on 1/6/24. Only one lady staff at that moment yet handled the guess very well. Westin should recognise such dedicated staff. Beautiful setup. The location and the private beach was perfect. The rooms with tropical view was a treat form the room balcony. "

"Generally a pleasant resort to b recommend. On a side issue, I booked for a two-night stay but found that the place is quite deserted during this period. I got approval from the hotel to change my booking for one night stay but charged me for two nights. The hotel said that Expedia would refund me the other booking fees. But till today no notice of refund has been activated. Can I request for an answer please? Thank you"

"A great choice for a short stay in Desaru. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious with large bathrooms and balconies. Pool and beach areas are beautiful and relaxing. Good variety of food at breakfast, service in the restaurants and bars was friendly but often rather slow. Limited dining options on site and not much else in the area other than a few other hotels and the golf course."

"city area location, with many eatery nearby. There is a supermarket as well. Room is spacious and clean. Water temperature is constant and steady flow. Just lacked of activities in hotel, need to head out for massage. Quite far away from attraction, abit inconvenient for those without car. If you are looking for beach/resort vibe,maybe have to book nearer to coastline accommodations. Some have them have outdoor activities or arcade within the facilities. "
