Please read the T & C before booking
First of all, my bad, I did not read the T & C of this hotel as I usually book chain hotels during my recent trip with facilities to modify reservation. I booked this hotel through web for 5 days and I did not realize that no refund for cancellation or modification. On the first day of checking in, the hotel has already charged my credit card upfront for full 5 day. The daily rates were higher during weekdays (they even charged us more than the ceiling rate they reported to California State, as posted behind the door. I don't know whether this practice is common or not). The front desk people were very rude and unhelpful at all when we requested to modify our reservation. They asked us to forward our request to web operator (which later I knew it would never happen, since the hotel already knew that it is non-refundable reservation). When I mentioned that I would post poor evaluation in the web, he said that it did not bother them as the hotel management did not put much attention on ratings and web comment. The bathroom cleanliness was poor due to lack of quality control. We had to remind the front desk almost every day to add towels as we had 4 persons in the room (we reserved for 4 pax). We were stuck to stay there until the 4th day. Finally, giving up our right to stay on the final day, on the 5th day we moved to other hotel near SFO airport. It was a bad experience and definitely would never come back to this place and would not recommend this hotel.
