"Beautiful town and nice little place to stay. Clean, quiet and simple. That said, there’s NO frills (it is Motel 6), no coffee in the room, no blow dryer, no hair care products, 2 tiny bars of soap and nothing else. The room and shower/tub were also super small (can’t fit more than 2 people) but the staff was professional and kind. I’d stay again! "

"Check-in was quick and easy. Very cute place, newly decorated it seems. I'd suggest taking down the dead hanging plants at the lobby entrance. Not a good first impression. Super close to the ocean and the wonderful bike trail that goes along the shore. Free parking, ice machine, coffee machine in lobby (but unfortunately it doesn't open super early like I needed) comfy beds, cute small patio. I would definitely stay again but request in room coffee maker. It's something even the cheapest hotels...

"A lovely stay at the historic Motel 6 in Santa Barbara, the first in the country, and nicely decorated, and we got a bottle of wine for booking thru this site. However, couple next to us was fighting, slamming doors and shouting obscenities for nearly an hour after midnight. Once the desk clerk intervened and threatened to call the police, things quieted down."
