"Close to the centre of Gent with a tram stop directly outside to take you to the train station, or a 20 minute walk. Beds comfy, rooms clean and warm ,shower hot, good for the price. Cafés nearby if going out for breakfast. Other guests were noisy late one evening but this was quickly resolved by the night staff. The walls are a little thin. I have stayed here before some years ago and would stay again. "

Area is right next to historic church, lots of foot traffic & nightlife going on."

It was occasionally difficult to get assistance from the reception because it is more of a back room and sometimes the staff is not there due to responding to some other issue on the property. "The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and I really like that the luggage storage was in a secured room. The room itself was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. They had AC so it would be good on a hot summer day but the weather was so nice we just had the windows open the entire time and the noise from the street and church bells wasn’t that bad. They didn’t have a fridge or kettle in the room but you can ask for hot water at the restaurant downstairs. The only thing we didn’t like is when we walked into our room, it looks like they just cleaned it and mopped the floor, so the floor was sopping wet and kinda smelled weird. We had to use the bathroom rug to dry it and the open window helped with the wet smell. Other than that, it was awesome and Ghent is beautiful! "
