"Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage."

"Me and my partner stayed here for two night to attend a music event that was a 2min walk away. Great welcome and very clean parkn right outside. With the place been full all weekend it was still very quiet. Load of place to eat right next to it. Will stay again"

"We had a nice stay. It’s about 2 blocks to the beach. There is no lift and it’s 3 stories high! Rooms aren’t too big. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great!! Paul is a great cook! We did have a problem locating the place. We also got there late and Paul wasn’t too happy, but the next morning he was ok. Pictures on the web are accurate. Great place for young and young at heart couples to stay "

"We have just returned from a 2 night stay in room 1 here. It was a very clean and spacious room with a very good ensuite shower room. Lots of thought had obviously gone into what guests require in their rooms: plent of storage, hanging space, little extras and a good sized mini fridge as well as a good tv with different channels and excellent wifi coverage. "Expectations were high with a score of 9.2 but I was disappointed. Room a bit pokey, very odd matress & bedding, terrible shower. Decor throughout a bit tired. Residents bar very limited and nothing on draught. Breakfast was ok. On the plus side, staff were all very nice, location is quiet with a nice park opposite and there's enough parking. I'd stay again if in Girvan but can't say I'd look forward to it."
