"Being an older building it has it's quirks which add to the charm. The hotel is across from the beach and an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Recommend the breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"We stayed for 3 days after our 14-night cruise and were able to wash and dry all our clothes. The washing machine was very handy. The provided clothes hanger had seen better days but we made it work. The location was fabulous and close to heaps of restaurants and pubs. We caught the local bus to Lewes for fun and had a great day. The apartment is quiet and comfortable. We would recommend to stay here. "

"Great location and friendly staff. Unfortunately the signal on the television was very poor so we were unable to watch it (it was late by the time we noticed so we didn't inform reception). Also the room is not very soundproof so we could hear every sound and conversation outside of our room. However, the room is in a brilliant location and close to the seafront, the room was clean and comfortable, and check-in and out was an easy process."

"Had a nice weekend stay at the hotel. Staff friendly, everything I needed in the room and plenty of free parking. Like others have said, the rooms are a bit tired but still comfortable. Would certainly stay again 👍👍"

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Amsterdam Hotel. The room was great - loved the complimentary earplugs, even though we didn't need them. Great location, just across from the pier. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, which just enhanced our weekend in Brighton. We'll definitely be back, loved it!"

"Excellent value for money , room was large, large comfy bed with TV and sofa. Mini kitchen with kettle,sink,hob,microwave and fridge. En suite bath with shower. Towels provided.I only booked for the one night but would have happily stayed a week. Yes there was the odd hair and a bit of dust in places but on the whole it was clean. Its a bit dated but wouldn't expect anything less being an old building. I'd definitely be booking again."

"Overall it’s a good place to stay and an ex location. I had hoped to be able to check k in earlier although they did offer me an alternative solution which was absolutely fine. "
