"Excellent location, amazing staff !! When we arrived at Oslo airport, my jetlagged bf put in the wrong hotel and we ended up 4 hours away!! The staff were so helpful and guided us with the quickest route and even called us back (when we got disconnected in a tunnel). Breakfast was delicous - very fresh lovely breakfast buffet. The staff went above and beyond - excellent service!! We highly recommend taking the Ramsdalen gondala which had breathtaking views!!"

"The host was very engaging and welcoming. The stairs up to our room in this quaint Norwegian home were steep for our suitcases. The room did not seem level, we needed to sleep away from the wall to have our heads above our feet. The views are spectacular and the sound of the waterfall soothing. It was nice to be able to make coffee in the morning before leaving. There is not a hair dryer and the home is significantly above the town and restaurants."

All of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and tasty. In fact, in the nicest possible way, it was very homely. We waited almost an hour and finally had to ask again and were told the room had been ready except no one told us At check out, the clerk failed to bill us for a meal and we wound up having to pay by credit card while we were elsewhere. A bit of confusion during the communications between us. Ultimately resolved. The hotel itself is great and we ahd a very plesant three day stay"
