"This may be one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff bent over backwards to make us happy. The day we checked in, the clerk noticed on my passport that it was my birthday. She was charming wishing me a happy birthday. Then two minutes after entering our room, she called to make sure everything was ok. "No air-conditioning and hot weather made the heat in the apartment unbearable. It fluctuated between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius according to the thermostat (even with two fans running), but it felt hotter. The room was dusty and could have been cleaner. The spiral staircase to the loft was extremely steep and flimsy. One of the steps was broken and a heavier person could easily fall through. I pointed this out but it was never fixed during our stay.
