"One of the weirdest hotel I have ever been to. The decoration and set up is so strange.. the left was covered with unusually strange looking wall paper. No air con in it. We booked. a double room we got stuff for a single occupancy. No toilet paper, no one came to clean my room while I was away. The room condition was so poor. Better than most hotel in the area
"We spent 3 days at Fairmont Mekkah with a great and extensive choice of morning buffet, clean and large room, and amazing service... Hence, Sofitel Madinah pales in comparison. Confusing layout of the buffet, the range of choice is ok but could be better... the room is rather small, the bathroom is not furnished with the usual 5 stars marble as I had imagined, in the evening we could still hear some construction activity. That one memorable time, is the guy who cleans the room. He was very-very friendly. "
