"The Concierge at check-in was brilliant, trying to get us all sorted whilst also managing some very demanding American guests! He also gave some great suggestions as to different places for us to try over the bridge which were slightly off the beaten track (as we have been to Florence before). Lucky enough to receive an upgrade on the room as well which was fantastic and whilst there are some refurbishment works going on on the upper levels, we weren't impacted by them at all. The location alone is worth the price, to be so close to all the best Florence has to offer. In addition to that, the hotel is richly decorated and comfortable in every way.
