"It’s a very basic place to stay, but it was more than $50 cheaper than any place else around Edinburgh. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The staff was very helpful!"

"Really is a very convenient place to stay for a once a year working visit. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff... and really good restairant. Sometimes there are evening events on that can be a little noisy, but this year all was quiet. great place to lay your head for an evening or two"

"I booked this properly as it was only 15 minutes back To the airport drop off for my hire car following a 2 week holiday to Scotland, including Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands. The room, bar and restaurant were all right next to each other which was convenient and I was suprised how quiet it was when sleeping which was great. "Lovely rooms but lift had very bad flickering light but we did report it. Not much gluten free options at breakfast but was very hot. Service was lovely. "

"Lovely overnight stay. Super friendly and helpful staff. Comfy beds and crisp white bed linen. The bathroom could do with a bit of updating. Super breakfast provided for an amazing £6 each. Whilst this was continental, we were expecting this from the reviews /hotel information. Cereal, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, meat, cheese, filter coffee, toast and delicious pastries. We were late going for breakfast and the staff kindly accommodated this. All food available and still lovely even at the end...
