Other hotels I have used in the area in the past are the travelodge Dumbarton and the Erskine bridge hotel but the Queen Margaret Residences outshine both these places in terms of cleanliness security and the standard of room. Arrived at the front door only to be informed that all bookings had been canceled because of a change in ownership; however Hotels.com didn’t bother to let us know about this fact so we ended up in some fleabag dump of a place a few miles away. "Great place to stay in the centre of Glasgow. Clean and cosy. Our room was quite small and we could have done with a comfy chair in the studio. It was good being able to park our car but the car park was difficult to get out of in the morning. "

"Lovely little hotel, very clean, excellent service in a beautiful location. Only small criticisms is a very wobbly wardrobe in the room which didnt feel very safe, no toiletries in bathroom (soap dispensers empty), and a poor choice of drinks in room. Not enough to put me off staying again, I would certainly be back, but I'd be aware to bring coffee, soap and shower gel next time! "
