"This was such a unique and pleasurable stay! Super comfortable room, beautiful view, and lots of friendly animals around the property. I loved all the kitties that came out to greet us! The breakfast was delicious, I was a huge fan of the fresh papaya boats. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re an early riser and want easy access to Volcano National Park. "

"Like the hospitality of the host. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delightful and tasty all done my Emma. The only problem we had was that the bathroom were not ADA compliant. The bath tub was a foot of the floor and made it very difficult for my wife to climb in an out of the bath. The breakfast area requires going up stairs and makes it difficult for someone with mobility issues. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "

"This was our first time ever at a bed snd breakfast. I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd say Intimate would be a good word, and friendly. Laurie the owner welcomed us personally, and there were two other couples there. The morning communal breakfast gave us a taste of the local fruits and breads, all hand preparec. The room was comfortable and while there's no A/C, there was no need due to the local nighttime climate. It wasn't near the downtown district, but turned out to be a plus. If...

"Outstanding location near Volcano national park with friendly and helpful staff. All of the details were thought of from breakfast to shoe cleaning kit and bathrobes. A book with all of the information you’d need about the property, about the National Park, and about the area was provided. We highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Perfect place to stay right outside of Volcano National park. "

"This was booked last minute due to a last minute cancellation for another property. Beautiful property especially for the earthy type of individual. It was perfect for my needs however I don’t see people staying here that require more of an upscale type of setting. Leaving the room to use the community restroom is probably the only thing that was not too thrilling. All in all it fulfilled my expectations."

"What a special, peaceful place this is. Rebecca went out of her way to make my stay as pleasant as possible, pointing out many nice restaurants close by. My favorite was Shaka Tacoz by far. The grounds of the property are covered with a lush and verdant collection of interesting plants that fascinated me for evening walks in the garden or up the driveway. The driveway is easy to manage once you realize there is a flat spot at the top that allows you to safely enter traffic on the main road. The...
