"The lodge offers great scenic views over a narrow gorge and fast flowing river into the Nairobi National Park. The staff are generally helpful and very polite. The food is fine but the choice is quite limited. The rooms are clean but a little old and rough around the edges but certainly not run down. The grounds are wonderful, a large area with a lot of trees filled with wildlife - exotic butterflies, birds, rock hyrax’s and monkeys, all roaming free. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and I felt like I was part of a big family even though I was traveling alone.
