"Amazing trip at the Sleeping Giant Hotel which is attached to the Pen y cae inn.. We arrived and was greeted by Lee and Claire, they went above and beyond to get us into our room 3 hours before checkin time.. the hotel is clean, modern with no expense spared.. the pub which is attached to the hotel has a lovely restaurant, the food was great and good value for money.. we ended up extending our stay by a extra night as we enjoyed it here that much! If you want a great stay with a good pub next door with friendly staff.. then this is the place to come! You will not be disappointed in the slightest "

"Quirky cottage. Very quiet and peaceful as tucked away down a very long driveway with only sheep, pigs and horses as neighbours. "

"Karen, one of the owner, could not have been more helpful. We were there for one night to go to my dad’s funeral. I had to ring the hotel twice for advice about something and Karen went out of her way to help. Breakfast was lovely a good selection and set us up for the day. Although the building is old it was spotless. A beautiful waterfall at the bottom of the garden. Lots of bird life flying around. Perfect. Thank you Karen and family "

"Very nice stay, would return. Floorboards in room a bit creaky and was worried about the noise I was making in the room below. A few stains on bedding, but overall a really relaxing stay and fantastic breakfast."
