"Ever want to spend the night in a museum, with a library, where you can wander the rooms and look at the exhibits? Well, you can, and I recommend this place. I love wandering through museums and thinking about the past, being able to after hours is really nice too. Most of the exhibits were still accessible after the place officially closed for the evening. Just check with the front desk, the staff is very welcoming and will let you know all about your surroundings. I was only here one night,...

"The owner is very friendly and helpful. He even upgraded the room without additional fee. The rooms are so clean and organized with nice thick towels and amenities. Free coffee and tea were available with a water server, microwave, and a little sink to wash dishes. The area is so quiet and peaceful although some good restaurants and ferry port are in walking distance. Highly recommended. "

"The owner upgraded our room so we were facing Lake George. Our room was beautiful with a balcony. We sat in the room and watched three deer by the lake. The manager was very prompt and helpful with a small issue we had. "

"Doors were very secure. Good interior and exterior lighting. Very nice interior decor. Well-stocked bathroom and kitchen. A bit challenging steps for the handicapped but managable. Our bathroom floor was quite tacky feeling. Great help from the reserve desk!"
