"I spent one very happy week at The Island Hotel Bali! The rooms are clean, cool and comfortable. The pool and adjacent lounge are a quiet refuge after a busy day at the beach. There are lots of great restaurants in the area and the hotel’s breakfast is really good. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable and arrange transport anywhere one may want to go. The location is really great down a little path away from the busy street so it os nice and quiet but still near all the action!"

"Basic hotel. Pool water was quite cold. Only 2 lounge chairs but not much sun falls on the pool area. Staff is efficient. Rooms sre spacious but basic. Wifi worked well but not for some apps. Shower is separate from the toilet and there is body wash and toiletries. It was very dusty under the bed and sheets, although they loooked clean had a funny smell. Housekeeping resolved this right away. Not far to walk to beach and shops. Try Mixue nearby they have the best cold drinks (non alcoholic). "

"it was meticously clean. the staff were so wonderful. just a few issues the "fully equipped kitchen" not so much 1 dented small pot and 2 scratched up frying pans could do breakfast for sure and a sandwich for lunch. planned on doing some dinners not really possible. no oven no bbq and 2 propane burners for cooking. the coffee maker is a kettle and instant coffee. the extensive choice of dvd's doesnt exsist. ordered room service once did not do it again.not very good maybe off night for the...
