"More than Excellent small boutiqe hotel in the Senggigi areas. Right by beach, mesmerizing sunset views from the whole hotel place, include your own private terrace. Large, sea view rooms, comfy bed, nice pool area. But 2 things much more than excellent: the staff is superb and really attentive, and the breakfast is delicius and home made. Definitely recommended, and will come back soon. Don't miss the Lombok wildlife park, it is 20 minutes by car from the hotel!"

"We had a lovely stay here, for the price it is fantastic value. Is on the quieter side of the island which we really liked. Has got fantastic views on the beach for the sunset, with good sunset happy hour prices. Rooms were lovely, with the his and hers showers surrounded by fish a particularly unique highlight. Only, slightly misleading thing about the ad, is there is no spa here. Overall a great stay, I would recommend and stay again if we found ourselves back on the island. "

Food was fantastic and the staff so warm and inviting and eager to help. We spent 2 nights here on our way to a liveaboard...could not have been more perfect! Beach/water was magnificent! "This hostel was really nice, from the reception to the room to the breakfast , all very nice. I stayed for 5 nights , the first couple nights I stayed in the deluxe room and the last 3 in a standard double. I had planned on hotel hopping around the island but Gili Buana was so relaxed I was happy to stay put. As A solo traveler I felt very welcome. Aisje the manager was an amazing hostess, she invited me for sunset and dinner a couple nights which was lovely. I highly recommend this hostel. "

"Location is very secluded and beach is not good for swimming. Be prepared to be locked in the resort as nothing else is around. Staff is very helpful and tried their best. No wind surfing. Apparently the equipment has not been usable for a number of years "
