"The space is nice. Seems like at one time it was a really nice place but lacks maintenance and the place could have been cleaner better. The glassware needed to be rewashed before using and there was a plate with ants on it in the kitchen at check in. The TVs are old and don’t allow you to connect to netflix. The movie screen seemed great but didn’t actually function. Overall the space as lots of potential but needs to be managed better. With some TLC it could be a great option. "

"The apartments are beautiful and in an excellent location. Close to the beach and an amazing array of places to eat and drink, I couldn’t recommend the location highly enough. The pool area is also lovely. Unfortunately there is construction work next door (May 2024) which looks like it may be some time away from finishing. I was disappointed that Expedia did not mention this at the time of booking, as it was very noisy and did impact sitting by the pool. There are also no laundry...

"Good value for money."

"We had a gorgeous suite, with a lot of amenities you dont find elsewhere in Canggu. The breakfasts was amazing each morning and so was the menu for dinner. The pool was clean and beautiful. One day I had a headache and the front reception was kind enough to give me some ibuprofen free if charge. Very hospitable staff. It was a wonderful experience. The only thing that was a tiny bit of a downfall was it was a bit outside of Canggu where we were spending most of our time."

"You get what you paid for. On positive note .Was private safe and reasonably quite. Bedding clean changed sheets every day .Unit cleaned everyday . All essential shopping close by. Staff pleasant however no english speaking staff. Stayed extra night due to flight change they accomadated me. Overall pleasent and clean stay. "

"Utterly terrible accommodation and terrible service - Room was ready an hour late, then not clean with junk food and trash still left about, walls smeared with dirty handprints, stained couches, broken floor and stair tiles, broken lights, shower dirty and rusty, toilet blocked, no hot water. Seriously! After one night of regrettably sleeping there, awoke with my legs covered in bed bug/flea bites (took weeks to heal). "I would definitely stay again at Grun as the hotel and amenities are great, but there are some lessons to be learned in customer service. I booked an in-room massage, the masseuse was 30 minutes late and no one notified me of the delay. This was very frustrating as I had plans later, and with it being my last day in Uluwatu I felt like I was wasting away time. "Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
