Staff so accommodating and friendly, a hidden gem right in the heart of Canggu. We actually tried to stay a second time and were gutted it was fully booked so definitely book in advance! "

"Staff was so accomodating and nice. Felt well tsken care of dueing our stay. The villa qas wxactly as the pictures showed and we loved it. Only downside is other dining and shops are not wothin easy walking distance but that was also part of the appeal. We didnt want to be in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle. This also allowed us to not get stuck in traffic when our driver took us to activitiee. Overall i wpuld stay here again! "

"They were very patient with my questions before the stay and took time to explain in details. The villa is cozy and the staff are very hospitable, helpf and attentive to our needs. The owner greeted us on our first morning and walked us to the van! Such a warm gesture :)"

"Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Anlage mit Pool und einem super lieben Team/Service. Nur die kleinen Hütten sind leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müssten hier und da etwas renoviert werden. Neue Bettwäsche sollte unbedingt besorgt werden. Alte Flecken die nicht raus gehen und gelbliche Kopfkissenbezüge machen nicht gerade nen super Eindruck auch wenn sie gewaschen waren. Ansonsten gibt es nix zu meckern, Frühstück war eine sehr schöne Auswahl und auch super lecker und das Ambiente stimmt....

"It was good for the money we payed. Not a bad choice for a short term stay. The water shore near by is not suitably for swimming or snorkeling but pretty good for surfing. What I missed at most in my room was a dresser and a place to dry the wet clothes."

"I had a terrible time trying to sleep at night because i got biten by bugs the whole night and woke up with bug bites all over my leg. The ac is also very weak for bali standards. The staff are nice but i will not book this hotel again."

However we were given the worst room (bottom floor by the reception) which is fine however when we asked for the floor to be moped and vacuumed when were out (due to a leak from the fridge and long black hairs on the floor) this was not completed. "I would definitely stay again at Grun as the hotel and amenities are great, but there are some lessons to be learned in customer service. I booked an in-room massage, the masseuse was 30 minutes late and no one notified me of the delay. This was very frustrating as I had plans later, and with it being my last day in Uluwatu I felt like I was wasting away time. It would have been ideal if the front desk notified me of the delay, considering as they were transporting the masueus around the...

"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
