"Check-in I believe is at 3pm and I arrived just before 12pm, the lady at the front desk was more than happy to check me in, if my room was available - IT SURE WAS! "The hotel had a comfortable bed with blockout curtains and all the amenities one would want in a room . It’s a two mike walk to the old town and restaurants but for us it was good to walk back after dinner . One can catch an Uber or tram so convenient I guess . The shower had good force but there was something about it that made the water too hot or cold but worked out regardless . Wish I could have spent time in the jacuzzi and pool which looked inviting and awesome . "

"The Hotel Best Western Astoria is in a neighbourhood that leaves something to be desired. The hotel itself is like a rose amongst thorns - a gem in the rough. Once you walk through the doors you easily forget the roughness of the neighbourhood.The room is splendid, clean and airy. Breakfasts, included with the cost of the room, are sumptuous. Small things to help for next guests would be an ashtray for outside and paper towels and frying pan in the kitchen. The check in /out process was great. Maybe adjusting the listing on Expedia too so guests don’t think it’s another location becuase that was a little confusing. Otherwise we had a nice stay and great time in Zagreb!
