"I chose the Grand Daddy for the convenience of location and it's overall heritage/funky vibe. As it was our first visit to Cape Town, we were unaware of how "lively" Long Street is! Unfortunately, there was also a party within the hotel on the night we had a 4:30 am flight. I assume this happens often as earplugs were left in the room. If you are interested in the party scene, this is the place to be. The staff was wonderful, the Hotel was very clean and our room itself was comfortable....

"Exceptionally friendly and attentive staff who truly go above and beyond. The rooms are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with high-end touches like Diptyque bathroom amenities, a complimentary minibar, coffee facilities, and convenient parking garage. One standout feature is their breakfast, served until 4 PM (!) and included in the stay — an incredible idea that makes for a wonderfully relaxed experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try it, but the menu sounded...

"Die Umgebung ist wirklich sicher und man kann am Abend auch sehr gut ausgehen, überall Sicherheitskräfte an jeder Ecke. Das Hotel ist von der Lage optimal um auch zu Fuss vieles zu erreichen, zum Beispiel die Waterfront nur ein Kilometer die Straße entlang gehen. Tolles Hotel sehr freundliches Personal.Top!"
