"This was a wonderful accommodation. My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. The views were incredible. Sadly it rained a lot so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful grounds. Star the manager could not be any nicer. Anything we wanted she was there to get it for us. Our rooms were cleaned daily and amazing snack drawer was filled. Refrigerator was filled with drinks and replenished daily. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Much better than standard continental breakfasts normally...

"We loved this place! Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean and homey. The location was right next to the lake and couldn’t have been more lovely. It was so private it felt like we were a million miles from anyone else. The only complaint was that the bed was too firm for us. "

"The rooms were clean and the staff is very polite. The only issue I experienced was about 3 to 5 minutes of hot water for a shower. Afterwards it would run cold immediately. "

"Nice little room, good location. Helpful front desk staff and good parking. It’s next to a geothermal park which is a blessing and a curse. You are close enough to walk to this free geothermal park but the smell easily made its way to the motel and we found it a bit overwhelming at times. "

"I paid $350 USD for one night, and it feels more like a motel than a hotel. I stayed in room 18 on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs. The carpet feels dirty, and at 12:00 am there’s a lot of noise coming from the bar next door—we can’t sleep. When I called reception, I was told to be patient. If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep after a long day, I’d recommend staying somewhere else. I believe the hotel should clearly disclose...

"Very nice hotel. Good air filtration considering closeness to the hot spring water. Excellent location and good looking rooms. Would recommend to anyone coming to Rotorua for the Spas."

"The room itself was nice and clean however there were ants all in the bathroom. The spa pool was lovely in big however it didn’t work when trying to turn it on. The staff were nice and friendly and very welcoming. Had a great touch with the coffee machine within the room itself."

"We had a wonderful stay, pleasant suite, wonderful staff and great amenities."

"Room was clean and staff was courteous. Walls are thin and guests next door were loud and arguing late into the night. Fixtures need updating and a bathroom fan could be helpful. Parking was extremely tight, especially if arriving last or late. FYI, motel resides in area of town that does smell of strongly of sulfur."

"Room was relatively clean, however the bathroom is very tired and needs an update.. the water pressure in the shower was very poor.. barely a dribble. Breakfast was ok.. good value for kids for a continental breakfast. Good location as a base in Rotorua. "
