"Great stay overall! The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Caoimhin on reception who went abive snd beyond for us. The room was clean, comfortable quire spacious. Location was perfectly located right in the middle of town. Breakfast had a good selection. Would definitely stay again."

"Loved my stay here at Abbeyglen. Was fortunate enough to hear the history of the town as well as meet the owner. Only wish I had more time to stay at the castle. Food was amazing and the entire staff was very welcoming and accommodating. "

"The heat is controlled by the staff and is turned on from 9-11:00pm (only) It was extremely cold ( it actually hailed in the afternoon) and I had to ask for a second comforter - in addition to the extra blanket in the closet. "

Nathaniel, Olga, Enda and the sweet young lady with the creative glasses (I didn't write down her name) were so accommodating, always thinking a step ahead. "Staff were friendly and professional but unfortunately the room I was first in had a blocked sink and then the second room had no heating. I had a meal in the evening that wasn’t fully cooked and was cold, I did get a replacement meal but overall my stay at this hotel was less than satisfactory. "
