"Stayed at this hotel"

"This is an olde worlds building lots of little rooms also larger function suite all connected with old fashioned corridors connecting them. But there bedrooms are not small and hey are very spacious en-suite rooms. Beautifully decorated with the period they represent. The staff are very peasant, helpful and friendly. Good food. Excellent venue for a wedding as beautiful setting inside and outside extensive countryside woodland walk to the river."

There were just a few small things like the ceiling was a bit cracked, the faucet cap was missing, and the toilet needed to be pumped in order to flush. But the staff were great and the food was very good so all in all, I would recommend it as a place to stay."

My only disappointment was that the rooms are not serviced daily unless you are staying for a longer period, which wasn't explained at check-in. It was a little frustrating to return after a long day out to find the room hadn't been serviced, as that's one of the things I most...
